If there's one mistake I see a lot of in the panty selling industry, it's a short-term focus.
The thing with business, any business, is that you build from the ground up.
Many sellers come into panty selling because it seems like a fun, quick way to make money. And it can be. But it can also be a lucrative side-income that grows if you put in the time, effort and energy to think about the long-term.
The best way to have a long-term perspective of your new business is to work on establishing a happy, loyal and regular customer base.
This means that every encounter you have with your potential customer and every product or service you offer your paying customer should be the best it can be.
You know yourself that if you purchase something online and it goes over and above your expectations, you’re more than likely to return to that same business the next time you want to make a purchase.
Aim to deliver over and above.
Add value – don't lower prices!
What can you do to make this experience exceptional for your buyer to ensure that they can’t wait to buy from you again?
Be professional and understand that for many panty buyers (and other service buyers), if they feel a strong connection to you and are blown away by what you provided, they will return to you again and again.
I have customers who continue to buy from me over 18 months down the line.
They know, like and trust me to deliver what I said I would. More than I said I would!
So, think long-term.
Sure, you might be here just for a few months and that’s fine. You should still aim to bring your A-GAME.
Another thing about the long-term aspect is that any business takes time to build. Rome wasn’t built in a day. You can’t expect to become a great panty-seller overnight.
A lot of what you learn in this business is a steep learning curve and it can be fun and interesting at times.
But those who are hell-bent on a number of reviews or number of sales by TOMORROW, may be disappointed. There’s no rush!
Remember that this is a business and you’re wearing all the hats. You have a lot to learn and much of what you learn can be applied to other businesses outside of this industry!
